OPERATOR COMPARTMENT - The operator compartment had been designed with the operator in mind. The fully adjustable, full suspension seat is molded for support, which reduces operator fatigue and increases productivity. The tilt steering column is fully adjustable to suit the operator, and provides easier entry and exit. Additionally, the thick molded floor mat reduces vibration and noise level to improve operator comfort.
PLATFORM - The stable platform has a low center of gravity, which CLARK achieved by moving the steer axle back, dropping the battery compartment, and moving all major components lower. The wide stance of the CTX also provides excellent lateral stability.
ELECTRIC 48 VOLT 100% AC SYSTEM - The fully enclosed 48 Volt AC System keeps out dust and other contaminants. Wet environments are not a problem for this electric powerhouse. With no brushes to change or commutator to turn, ever, routine brush changes are eliminated; there’s no need to pull the motor to turn and undercut the commutator; and, it is much less likely to burn-out the motor during a stall. The two forms of regenerative braking include change of direction (proportional to accelerator position) and throttle release (proportional to accelerator position). The advanced thermal protection prevents heat damage to the motor and control.
CUSTOMIZABLE - The CTX has completely customizable parameters to the operators’ presence. These customizable options include acceleration rate, deceleration rate, and separate FW/RV max speed.
